Renovations Set to Begin for Port Weller Community Centre

The Port Weller Community Centre is about to receive a $750,000 makeover.

A renovation project will get underway this month, in order to make the St. Catharines facility more accessible.

Two new bathrooms will be built. Crews will also work on the front entrance, the foyer, the two existing bathrooms and they'll upgrade the outdoor lighting.

Members of the public will be able to access the gymnasium, kitchen, activity room and at least one set of
washrooms during the renovations.

The work will be done in two-phases and it should wrap up in the spring.

The entrance will be relocated to the southeast corner during the first phase.
