LCHS Rescues 35 Dogs from Farm 14

The Lincoln County Humane Society is taking in dogs from a dog meat farm in Korea.

The St. Catharines based animal shelter received 15 dogs on Friday and another 20 on Monday. 
This means they will have 35 dogs looking for their forever homes next week.

Some of them will need additional care before or after they are adopted, due to the conditions they endured while at Farm 14.

Farm 14 also operates as a puppy mill where the sell the dogs for meat or as pets in order to make a profit.

Those interested in adopting one of the dogs will have to fill out an application and undergo a background check.
