Woman fights off sexual abuser while outside her Niagara Falls apartment
Niagara police are on the hunt for a man who tried to sexually assault a woman while she was outside of her apartment near Queen Street and Erie Avenue yesterday morning.
The victim was standing outside of her apartment when a man approached her from behind and began accosting her and then attempted to sexually assault her.
Police say “The female was able to fight her way out of the situation and regain safety in her apartment."
He is described as light-to-medium skin and stands between five-foot-five and five-foot-six. He was last seen wearing a brown cable knit zip-up sweater, black slush pants and a brown baseball cap.
Anyone who sees a man matching the description is asked not to approach him and instead dial 911.
