Niagara Regional Police believe there could be more victims
A 32 year old Toronto man has been arrested in connection to human trafficking in the Niagara Region.
Niagara Regional Police started their investigation last month regarding the trafficking of a female over the age of 18 throughout Niagara and Southern Ontario.
Dillan Shand is facing numerous charges including trafficking in persons, assault, uttering threats, procuring, material benefit from trafficking in persons and material benefit from sexual services.
He's being held in custody for a bail hearing tomorrow.
NRP say the investigation is ongoing as police believe there may be more victims.
They're asking anyone with information to give them a call.
