People for Education want it added to list of required school vaccines
In a written letter to Ontario Education Minister Stephen Lecce, the head of People for Education says it is vital to require the shot for students 12 plus.
Annie Kidder says right now fewer than 70 percent of students in that age range are fully vaccinated.
She says the COVID shot should be included in the list of diseases under the Immunization of School Pupils Act.
