
Final holiday of summer has arrived
Starting today, Currents: Niagara’s Power Transformed, an immersive light show opens at the new Niagara Parks Power Station.
The show features 3D projection, interactive moments of wonder, and a breathtaking musical score in the heart of the power station.

Niagara’s popular Greek Festival is going take out only this weekend
The event runs tomorrow and Sunday from noon to 8pm and from noon to 7 pm on Monday at 585 Niagara Street in St. Catharines.
Festival goers can order a variety of $12 dinners with some side options also available including a dessert platter.
Project Share volunteers will be out front of Zehrs in Niagara Falls tomorrow from 10 to 3 collecting donations.
The food drive kicks off over a month of stops at local grocery stores for the food bank.
Folks & Spokes is underway. The city of Niagara Falls is challenging you to ride as many kilometres as you can this month, reduce your carbon footprint by choosing your bike over your car more often, brush up on bike safety, and explore local trails and bike routes.

Recreation and leisure teams from the City of St. Catharines, Fort Erie, Port Colborne, Niagara Falls, Welland, Pelham, West Lincoln, Lincoln, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Thorold, Grimsby and the Niagara Parks Commission have joined together to host Reconnect to Rediscover Niagara.
The online scavenger hunt, hosted on the GooseChase app, runs until September 6th.
All Niagara residents from across the region are invited to reconnect with their neighbouring municipalities and rediscover the rich natural landscapes and history they offer.
