River Lions have been crowned Canadian Elite Basketball League champions .

For the first time in their franchise history, the Niagara River Lions have been crowned Canadian Elite Basketball League champions .The River Lions defeated the Vancouver Bandits 97-95 in the CEBL championship last night

It was a historic season for the River Lions on home court, winning all 10 home games in the regular season at the Meridian Centre.

Ahmad, scored the game-winner saying: "That's the biggest bucket of my life for sure."

The River Lions have made the CEBL playoffs every year and reached the final in 2021.
