NRP caught them after stopping stolen SUV in St. Catharines
Two teenagers are in trouble after police stopped a stolen SUV in St. Catharines.
Officers stopped the vehicle last night just after 8 in the Glenridge Avenue and Westchester Crescent area when they noticed it didn't have a licence plate on the front.
Police found some cocaine, and that it was stolen.
They arrested 18-year old Josh Pangallo of St. Catharines, laying 7 charges:
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
- Drive vehicle or boat with cannabis in open original package
- Owner operate motor vehicle on highway - no insurance
- Drive motor vehicle fail to display two plates
- Permit use of plate not authorized
- Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle
- Fail to surrender driver licence
A 17-year old St. Catharines boy also arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance FTP - Cocaine
Both were released with future court dates.
