
Three teenagers have been arrested after a break and enter in St. Catharines.
Just before 3:40 on Wednesday morning, police were called to a home in the area of Sherman Drive and Overholt Street.
A man in his thirties was found suffering from stab wounds.
The victim had discovered three males in his vehicle in his driveway around 3:30, and chased the suspects as they ran away.
An altercation occurred when the victim caught one of the suspects after a short distance.
When the victim attempted to perform a citizen's arrest, he was stabbed, and the suspect fleed on foot.
The victim was by paramedics for non-life threatening injuries, and taken to hospital for further treatment.
Investigators were led to believe the same suspects were involved at another break and enter on Sherman Drive.
As a result, the trio were identified.
The three suspects - a 14, 15 and 16 year old from St. Catharines - turned themselves into police.
The 15 year old was charged with assault with a weapon, and all three received theft and break and enter related charges.
