NRP also finding about $11,000 worth of fentanyl

Four people have been charged after the robbery of an electric scooter in Welland.

Police got the call yesterday, finding out three people had stolen another man's scooter, then fled in a black Jeep.

A bystander and the victim followed the Jeep, police were called, and they arrested the thieves, finding the scooter and some weapons in the Jeep.

Police have charged 34-year old Natasha Leigh Seguin of no fixed address with robbery and breach of probation.

Simran Singh, a 32-year old woman from Welland, and 37-year old Mohd Farooqi of Brampton are both charged with robbery.

All three had bail hearings today.

But, it doesn't end there, as police say there was an outstanding warrant for the victim, for failing to comply with probation.

As police arrested 36-year old Justin Daniel Roesler of no fixed address, they found him to have some fentanyl and bear repellant spray.

Police then searched a Welland home, and found more fentanyl, other drug paraphernalia and a home made stun gun.  The estimated street value of the fentanyl is $11,000.

  • Possession of prohibited weapon (bear spray and homemade stun gun) (2 Counts)
  • Possession of a prohibited/restricted weapon knowing its possession is unauthorized

He has a bail hearing today.
