Niagara Regional Police are looking for a man who allegedly brandished a gun to rob Fryin' Guys on Lake Street in St. Catharines.
Police looking for a man who allegedly robbed a St. Catharines restaurant with a gun.
Cops responded to Fryin' Guys on Lake Street at around 2:20 yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon following reports of an armed robbery.
According to Niagara Regional Police, the suspect pulled out a gun and robbed the restaurant before fleeing the area on a bicycle.
No one was hurt during this incident and the amount of money taken is unknown at this time.
The suspect is described as a white male around five feet ten inches tall and weighing around 150 pounds with a slender build.
He had matted or dread lock mid length brown hair with a tattoo on his right calf.
Police say he was wearing a baseball cap backwards with a bandanna underneath, a blue/grey long sleeve button down shirt, blue knee length plaid shorts, a black face mask, red and white socks pulled up past the ankle and yellow gloves.
The bike has a black frame with a red making or logo on the bottom bar and a white seat, he also was carrying a black Nike back pack.
The suspect was last seen riding the bicycle on Dufferin Street, eastbound towards York Street.
Detectives asking anyone in the area with closed circuit security cameras, doorbell video cameras, or dash cameras are asked to review their footage for suspicious activity between 1:30PM and 3:00PM to give them a call.
Police are asking anyone with information or any witnesses to contact Crime Stoppers or Niagara Regional Police.
