Niagara Region is ready to move forward in its search for a new CAO.
Council will look at a staff report on the process at a special meeting this afternoon.
It's happening at 4:00 p.m., before the regular council meeting at 6:30 p.m.
The report will looks for council's approval an a recruitment policy for the new CAO.
It also references the Ontario Ombudsman's investigation that was released in November, which looked into the tainted hiring process of former CAO Carmen D'Angelo.
Public Works Commissioner Ron Tripp he been acting as interim CAO.
