Public Health Lists Three Beaches as Unsafe for Swimming

Ne;;es Beach, Lakeside Beach and Waverly Beach posted as unsafe for swimming.

A word of warning if you plan to go swimming.

Three beaches in Niagara have been flagged as unsafe for swimming.

Lakeside Beach in St. Catharines has been posted due to E.Coli, and algae has been detected at Waverly Beach in Fort Erie.

Meanwhile, Nelles Beach in Grimsby has been posted for safety reasons.

Niagara Region Public Health frequently tests water at area beaches during the summer in order to reduce the risk of illness and injury.
