
Beaches, pools, splash pads, St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre and more open
Lots to do in St. Catharines this long weekend!
The City says the St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre will be open all weekend including Civic Holiday Monday, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Admission is by donation, and the museum will be holding its "North is Freedom: The Legacy of the Underground Railroad" exhibit on Sunday.

Anyone looking to cool off can head over to any City splash pad, as well as Sunset, Lakeside Park and Jones beaches, or the St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre, Port Dalhousie, Lincoln Park and Lion Dunc Schooley pools.

Anyone heading to any of the City's beaches is asked to refrain from smoking, drinking or barbecuing.

You can also enjoy the Garden City Golf Course from 7:00 a.m. until dusk all weekend, as well as Happy Rolph's Animal Farm from dawn to dusk.
As well, the Lakeside Park Carousel will be open all weekend between 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., and Morningstar Mill will be open tomorrow and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Closures this weekend include City Hall, outdoor sports field and the Seymour-Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre.
St. Catharines Transit will operate on a holiday schedule on Monday, with regular service resuming on Tuesday.
