Police say its both adults and youth doing this from cars in St. Catharines, Port Colborne, Welland and Niagara Falls.

Most of these cases are believed to be unrelated, and sometimes resulting in minor injuries not needing hospital care.

Police add they arrested a 13-year old Port Colborne boy for involvement in a shot fired on Tuesday, from a gel gun, from a car at a pedestrian.

A reminder from police this can lead to real life consequences and life altering injuries.
