Two suspects on the loose
Police are investigating after a group of people were sprayed by a chemical irritant in St. Catharines.
Around 2 AM on Saturday, an officer found a stopped van in the area of St. Paul Street and Queen Street.
Five people were found suffering from exposure to a substance similar to bear spay.

Police say the van was a ride share vehicle that stopped in front of a restaurant on St. Paul St near Helliwell's Lane.
The driver behind the van got upset, and words were exchanged with the ride share driver.
When the van stopped at a stop sign at Queen Street, the car pulled up beside it and a male passenger sprayed the driver through an open window.
The suspect vehicle is described as a dark coloured four door sedan.
The driver is described as follows:
- White female
- Medium build
- Dark hair
She was wearing:
- Black track suit with a white stripe on the arms and leg
- Light blue shirt
- White high tops with dark laces
The passenger is described as a white man.
