It happened while Stephen Lecce was at university
Ontario's Education Minister apologizing after an embarrassing university incident was made public.
Stephen Lecce has found himself at the centre of a scandal after allegations surfaced he took part in a "slave auction" while he was the president of a fraternity at Western University.
Just hours after the story surfaced, Lecce issued a statement saying "The event from 2006 was inappropriate and in no way reflects who I am as a person, which is why I unreservedly apologize. I will continue to passionately advance the interests of all Ontarians irrespective of faith, heritage, orientation or race."
The NDP however demanding more than an apology saying in a release "Under no circumstances should the people of this province, or even more alarmingly our children, be represented by him at this time."
