There are also 580 ICU patients battling COVID-19, with 17.9 percent admitted for other reasons but testing positive.
To date, more than 29.5 million vaccinations have been administered.
About 91.4 percent of Ontarians 12 and older have one dose and 88.7 percent are fully immunized.
