UPDATE: Police have found the body of 83-year-old Gurmel Gill.
The NRP says no foul play is suspected in his death and no further details will be released.
Police are concerned for his welfare.
The NRP is looking for 83-year-old Gurmel Gill.
He left his home in south Thorold at around 7:00 a.m. today; in the Autumn Ave and Homestead Way area.
He's South Asian, standing at about 5'7" with a skinny build, a thick white beard and he could have his black and grey hair tied back.
Gill was last seen wearing a black hat, beige winter coat, pajamas and black Adidas slippers.
Police say he may be on foot and he does not know the area. He also does not speak English well.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should contact Niagara Regional Police
