NRP Charge Nine For Impaired Driving

Nine people busted for impaired driving during R.I.D.E. checks in Niagara.

Niagara Regional Police has released its latest list of impaired drivers. 

Between September 5th and 11th, nine people were charged with impaired driving during R.I.D.E. checks. 

The individuals range from 24 to 64 years old. 

Charges were laid for driving while impaired by drugs or alcohol, refusing to provide a breath or blood sample, or driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. 

Each person also received a 90 day license suspension. 

According to the NRP, impaired driving is the leading cause of criminal deaths in Canada.
