Starting today, a negative COVID test will no longer get you on a plane or train in Canada.
Unvaccinated travellers over the age of 12 can no longer board planes and trains unless they are fully vaccinated.
Air Canada and WestJet have confirmed they will ask for proof of vaccine from everyone boarding in Canada as of today.
VIA Rail had already been checking vaccine passports.
The federal government also warning Canadians abroad they will not be able to return home without proof they are fully vaccinated.
