Heavy snow expected late this afternoon into the evening
Niagara is getting more winter weather.
North Niagara remains under a winter storm warning, while south Niagara is under a weather advisory.
Environment Canada says the region will get heavy snow late this afternoon through tomorrow morning.
About 5 to 15 centimetres is expected in south Niagara, and north Niagara will get 10 to 20 centimetres.
This is due to a Texas low coming through parts of southern Ontario.
Snow may be mixed with rain or ice pellets at times, and strong winds are expected.
Surfaces like highways, roads, parking lots and sidewalks may be difficult to navigate.
Drivers are encouraged not to park on streets, in order to make way for plows.
Buffalo is also under a winter weather advisory.
The National Weather Service says about 3 to 6 inches of snow will fall late this afternoon until tomorrow morning.
