Niagara Road Closures This Week

East Main Street in Welland, Highways 140, 3, 405, 406, 58, 58A and QEW are affected

Avoid a headache with traffic jams this week, take a look at the 36 closures that are scheduled for roadwork on highways in Niagara:

• Queen Elizabeth Way Toronto bound between Thorold Stone Road and Thorold Stone Road, Niagara Falls: one left lane closed from May 13 at 12 p.m. until May 17 at 7 a.m.

• Highway 58A eastbound between Highway 140 and Highway 58 / Prince Charles Drive, Welland: one alternating lane closed from May 7 at 6 p.m. until May 17 at 6 a.m.

• Queen Elizabeth Way Toronto bound between Glendale Avenue, Niagara-On-The-Lake and Welland Avenue, St. Catharines: two right lanes closed from May 14 at 11 p.m. until May 17 at 6 a.m.

• Queen Elizabeth Way Toronto bound between Garden City Skyway and Garden City Skyway, St. Catharines: one alternating lane closed from May 12 at 9 p.m. until May 16 at 5 a.m.

• Queen Elizabeth Way Toronto bound between Maple Avenue and Casablanca Boulevard, Grimsby: two alternating lanes closed from May 6 at 7 p.m. until June 8 at 6 a.m.

• Highway 405 westbound between Stanley Avenue and Queen Elizabeth Way, Niagara-On-The-Lake: one alternating lane closed from April 10 at 7 a.m. until Dec. 20 at 5 p.m.

• Highway 3 westbound between Laur Road and Laur Road, Fort Erie: one right lane closed from May 16 at 9 a.m. until May 16 at 3 p.m.

• Highway 140 southbound between East Main Street / Farr Road, Welland and Highway 3 / Main Street East -Port Colborne, Port Colborne: one alternating lane closed from May 7 at 6 p.m. until May 14 at 6 a.m.

• East Main Street Welland westbound between Highway 140 / Farr Road and Wellington St, Welland: one alternating lane closed from May 12 at 7 p.m. until May 16 at 5:30 a.m.

• Highway 405 westbound between Stanley Avenue and Queen Elizabeth Way, Niagara-On-The-Lake: all lanes closed from April 23 at 7 a.m. until July 31 at 6 p.m.

• Highway 3 eastbound between Highway 140 / Elizabeth Street, Port Colborne and Rose Hill Road, Fort Erie: one alternating lane closed from May 7 at 6 p.m. until May 17 at 6 a.m.

• Highway 406 northbound between Glendale Avenue and 4th Ave, St. Catharines: one alternating lane closed from May 12 at 8 p.m. until May 17 at 5 a.m.
