CannTrust will be destroying $65-million worth of inventory, that was not authorized under it's licence.
The pot producer will be getting rid of $12-million worth of biological assets as well.
This includes all of the product that has been returned by patients, retailers and distributors.
It's all part of the company's remediation efforts. CannTrust has been under investigation for allegedly growing pot in unlicensed rooms in Pelham.
Health Canada also suspended the CannTrust's licence to produce and sell cannabis about a month ago.
