
NRP say the suspect pointed a gun at the clerk after approaching counter to pay for items, made off with some money
A 50-year old man has been charged after an armed robbery in St. Catharines.
Police say last Wednesday a man was in an Avondale, when he went to pay for some items, but instead pointed a gun at the clerk.
The thief made off with some money.
Police say on Friday, they found the suspect in the Fourth Avenue and Louth Street area, and found him with a gun and clothing worn during the robbery.
Jeffrey Allan Legros had a bail hearing Saturday, charged with:
- Robbery with a firearm
- Pointing a firearm
- Use of a firearm during the commission of an offence
- Possession of a firearm while prohibited
- Failing to comply with probation
