NRP say a gun misfired at a Grimsby home over the weekend, he received non life-threatening injuries
A man has been hurt, and charged, following the accidental misfiring of a gun.
Niagara Regional police were called Saturday to a home in the Livingston Avenue and Roberts Road area of Grimsby, to reports of a shooting.
Police found the man with non life-threatening injuries, he was treated at hospital.
The day after, detectives searched the home and seized several weapons from the property.
37-year-old Justin Melo of Grimsby was charged with careless use of a firearm, and possession of prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition.
Police add he remained in custody following a bail hearing Sunday in St. Catharines.
