Lincoln Home Building Gets Boost

Provincial government investing over $22-million to help build over 4,000 homes, including for drinking water and storm water infrastructure

A provincial investment of over $22-million has been made to enable further construction of homes in Lincoln.

The money is from the Housing-Enabling Water Systems Fund, that provides $970-million provincially for development, repair and expansion of drinking water, wastewater and storm water infrastructure.

The $22-million is supporting construction of 4,462 homes at the Prudhomme's Landing development in Vineland Station.

Mayor of Lincoln Sandra Easton says support from the funding will not only meet today's needs but also support Lincoln's future growth, as outlined in the Prudhomme's Secondary Plan.
