Bills player Damar Hamlin remains in ICU

Some positive news for fans of the Buffalo Bills.

In a tweet, the team says Damar Hamlin is "showing signs of improvement" though he remains in the ICU in critical condition.

This comes after a family spokesperson told the Associated Press that his family is "optimistic" about his recovery.

Hamlin's uncle, Dorrian Glenn, has also told several media outlets that doctors have lowered the amount of oxygen Hamlin needs to 50 percent.

It was previously at 100 percent.

Hamlin collapsed on the field on Monday night during a game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The game was suspended, and the NFL has not announced when the game will resume.

The team is scheduled to have closed-door meetings and a walk-through practice today.

Meanwhile, fans have been showing support for Hamlin by donating to his Chasing M's Foundation.

Hamlin started the charity with a goal of raising $2,500 for a toy drive.

By noon today, over $6.3 million was raised.
