Grimsby Fight Leads to Multiple Arrests

Teenager punched and kicked by several teens, say police

An ugly scene in Grimsby disrupted by Niagara Regional police.

They tell us on September 21st they were called to the Willow and Hemlock Way area of town to reports of teenagers fighting. 

When cops arrived, there over 50 kids, with more fleeing when they saw police.

A video was soon found on social media, and police say on that they saw a 13 year old boy being punched and kicked by at least seven people.  Police say he suffered minor injuries.

As a result, police say they've charged four people, all from the Niagara region.

Three are 13 to 15 years old, charged with robbery, and 19-year old Tyler Susi of Grimsby, also charged with robbery.

All were released with future court dates, with more arrests and charges expected.

Police are also asking for anyone in possession of the video to delete it, as it could identify the victim and three of the charged individuals, as their identities are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
