Expert calling for prices to rise by 8 - 9 cents per litre throughout Canada Saturday.
You may want to fill up your gas tank today or tomorrow.
Dan McTeague, President of Canadians for Affordable Energy, tweeting out prices across most of Canada will rise 8 to 9 cents a litre for Saturday, unless markets make a dramatic shift.
McTeague telling several media outlets the hike is due in large part to Russia's attack on Ukraine.
Today, the average price of gas in Niagara is 158.9 cents per litre for regular, 183.9 for premium and 163.9 for diesel.
