Public Health will welcome Dr. Karen Lee to Niagara today, to talk about her new book.
Fit Cities takes a look at the health of the town or city you live in, and how it relates to your health as an individual.
Dr. Lee has more than 20-years of experience, helping people around the world live healthy lives.
She has also worked to address some of the world leading health problems; including obesity, heart disease, strokes, cancers, and diabetes.
Dr. Lee will be signing of her book at the Walker Family YMCA in St. Catharines this morning from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
She'll stop by another signing at the Brock University Campus Store later in the day; from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Public Health says she'll also engage with local community leaders in a panel discussion during her visit.
