Toronto man arrested after caught in St. Catharines
A long list of weapon and drug charges laid against a 26-year old Toronto man after he tried to flee from Niagara regional police.
NRP were in St. Catharines early Tuesday afternoon doing an investigation, when they noticed an unrelated Chevy car suspected in drug dealing.
It drove to Niagara Falls, where police tried to pull it over in the River Road and Bridge Street area, but the driver took off. Police did not chase it.
Police found the car in a parking lot in the Glendale and Highway 406 area, waited until the driver was on foot, and caught him after a brief chase.
Police say they found fentanyl, cocaine, crystal meth and 4 working cell phones in the car.

- 67 grams of Fentanyl

- 29.7 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine
- 148.8 grams of cutting agent
- Drug paraphernalia
- 4 working cell phones
Rahiem Nesbeth faces a dozen charges, and was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
