Court Injunction Served to Pipeline Protesters in Aldershot

GO Transit had to cancel service to Niagara Falls and St. Catharines this morning, thanks to a rail blockade.

Protestors are blocking a rail line in the Aldershot area.

They're supporting the Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs and their fight against the Coastal GasLink pipeline in British Columbia.

Hamilton Police say they have served a court injunction to the protesters, and they would like to maintain a peaceful environment.

Police also arrested 10 protesters in the Belleville area yesterday. They were blocking the main rail line between Toronto and Montreal.
