Black Friday Tips for Canadians Shopping in the United States

Lots of people will shop til they drop today, for Black Friday.

If you're planning on shopping in the United States, make sure you hang on to those receipts.

The Canada Border Services Agency says you'll have to declare everything you buy when you cross the border back into Niagara.

Border officials will let you claim up to $200 Canadian if you're in the U.S. for more than 24 hours. You can spend up to $800 Canadian you're there for more than 48 hours.

It's also a good idea to check border wait times and you should have your passport ready to go.
