
Police were called in August
Four teenagers have been charged with mischief over $5,000 after vandalism at Heartland Forest in August.
Police were called to the Niagara Falls nature centre, to find four suspects had gone on a late night wrecking spree.
They damaged a statue, wooden bridge, mini putt course, roof shingles, and broke windows, as well as throwing garbage bins and park benches into a pond.
Police have charged 19-year old Devon McIntyre of St. Catharines, as well as another 17-year old boy from St. Catharines.
Also charged is 18-year old Paul Brunning of Welland, and another 17-year old boy from Welland.
The Youth Criminal Justice Act prohibits the names of anyone under 18 from being released.
Damage is now estimated at $15,000.
The four were released from custody with future court dates.
