Police say Project Dilly started in the fall after complaints of discarded bottles in St. Catharines, 4 people charged
Four people have been arrested after police responded to complaints of discarded prescription pill bottles in St. Catharines.
Police began investigating in October the illegal sale of controlled drugs in the Queenston and Church Street area.
They called it Project Dilly, in reference to the street term for Hydromorphone.
Police add the discoveries of bottles raised red flags of drug use and related criminal activity, and last month the arrests were made.
