639 New COVID-19 Cases in Ontario

Another day with over 600 new COVID-19 cases in Ontario.

Officials are confirming 639 new infections and two deaths today. 

Health Minister Christine Elliott says 515 of today's new cases are in people who aren't fully vaccinated or whose vaccination status isn't known. 

The other 124 new cases are in people with both shots. 

There were 19,866 tests completed. 

The province is reporting 204 hospital patients with the virus, but the number may be higher as about 10 percent of hospitals haven't submitted data to the Daily Bed Census. 

Currently, 121 ICU patients are testing positive for COVID-19. 

Throughout Ontario, over 20.4 million vaccinations have been administered. 

Approximately 82.2 percent of eligible Ontarians have one shot, and 74.9 percent have both.
