
Police continue to investigate robbery at Meridian Credit Union on Portage Road
Police are asking for tips in connection to an armed bank robbery in Niagara Falls.
Meridian Credit Union is offering a $30,000 reward for information leading to an arrest after the Portage Road location was robbed.
Just after 8:00 p.m. on February 23rd, two suspects entered the bank with a gun, and demanded cash.
The suspects took off with an undisclosed amount of money.
Nobody inside the bank was hurt.
Suspect #1 is described as follows:
- Black male
- 50 years of age
- 6’0" tall, slim build
- Wearing a black mask
- Wearing a black jacket
- Wearing black gloves
- Wearing dark grey pants
- Wearing black shoes
Suspect #2 is described as follows:
- Black male
- 30 years of age
- 5’9" tall, medium build
- Wearing a mask
- Wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with "BARRIE" on the left chest and a maple leaf logo underneath
- Wearing black pants
- Wearing burgundy shoes
Police believe the suspects took off in a white Dodge Caravan with stolen license plates.
